On a hill in Louisville, Kentucky, a five-story tuberculosis hospital kept its ledgers for fifty years. Names. Rooms. Final dates. Its dead went down a five-hundred-foot tunnel through the hill, out of sight of the living. Then the building was chained shut, the records were lost, and the stories began.

A little boy called Timmy who rolls the ball back. A nurse at the window of Room 502 whose face no one will describe. A man in a white coat who walks into a room with one door and is gone. A shadow on the fourth floor that tilts its head when you call to it. And something called the Creeper, spread flat against the ceiling, breathing.

Tonight, Jeremy Hanson becomes the Whisper Man and walks the halls of Waverly Hills Sanatorium, asking the question under every legend on that hill. Who kept the records? And what did they leave out?
